30 leaves connected by Autumn
Digital photography
The water of the sky and the blue clouds that rose in it. The wrinkled hands of the fig tree, The still greenness of the lemon tree. The little foreign languages of jasmine, lilac, pittosporum. The rolled bamboo leaves. A yellow devil's hoof. Everywhere exotic slats with grooves blackened by time: the fruit of a collaboration between nature and humans, shining with intelligence and rain. And finally, my blurry reflection, which fixes and comments on this square of the colorful and comforting present.

Amibie
Amabié
Drawings
Amabie: this three-legged yōkai comes out of the water to announce either a good harvest or an epidemic! Let our politicians and our predicament not prevent us from making humor.

How are you doing? How am I doing?
Drawings
I take care of my zombie mom. I recreate a complex ecosystem by making a vegetable mound. I write my speech of the bride’s father. I transpose UBU of Alfred Jarry in our crazy world before the French presidential elections of 2022. I share my interests everywhere for vegetarian cuisine, for Artemisia plant and for all atypical researchers.
In these 15 automatic micro sketches, I give free rein to my creativity and my inner bubbling. It is at the same time: a plastic meditation, pure research, and daily « piano scales » necessary not to let the eye-hand loop go numb.

The firebird is cycling
Digital painting
Resilience = overcoming trauma.
With children and artists of Kobe & with “Le petit Ney” in Paris, we decided to overcome several traumas: confinement, absence of vacations in the council houses, cancellation of the Japanese Olympics. I animated with Tagtool these drawings of Japanese children and then projected them on a building in the 18th district of Paris.

Untitled
Digital photograph
I photographed this rock at the southern tip of Shikoku (Japan). The ocean created these tender cells and then filled them with different quartz. There is not a bigger artist than nature! As the Taoist monk, Shitao said in the 17th century “The painter’s activity is not to imitate the various facts of Creation, but to reproduce the very act by which nature creates”. To meditate in this human confused period.

L’Art du confinement #25 : Plastic Ocean
Musique : @jamesblake – Retrograde
Each night since the beginning of lockdown I was giving a light painting show to my neighborhood. This is a live digital animated painting on a building.
The plastic ocean begins in our brain! The continent of plastic generated by our behaviors and our ways of thinking is a danger. The ocean in danger: it’s you it’s me. By projecting bubbles and jellyfish, on the walls of the city, I show the imposing poetry of this vital lung of our atmosphere.

Two mandarins, a pear, a banana, and the music of Sufjan Stevens is enough to make me happy and to turn the world around again.

L’art du confinement #8 : Earth Day
Lightpainting for Earth Day. Thank you to Kriill band for your song “Brittany”.
Our lungs are burning, our house is burning, our planet is burning. My creativity is on fire, what about you?
The art I create during the lockdown: every evening I offer to my neighborhood and the caretakers of Bichât Hospital an animated digital painting on the facade of the neighboring building.
